Charltons attended the Eastern Economic Forum 2019
Charltons attended the Eastern Economic Forum 2019, 4-6 September. EEF is a an important platform for debating and canvassing views on the economic development of Russia’s Far East which also aims to expand international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. Around 8.5 thousand people from 65 countries participated in the Forum this year. 1.3 thousand journalists from around the world covered this event. As part of the EEF-2019 business program, more than 90 business events and six country business dialogues were held, 270 investment agreements worth 3.4 trillion rubles were signed. Discussion at the Forum focused on four areas: “New solutions to accelerate economic growth”, “Creating conditions for business”, “Far East and Asia-Pacific region: developing opportunities for cooperation”, “New solutions to improve the quality of life”. The key event of the Forum was a plenary meeting with the leaders of five countries: the President of the Russian Federation, the Prime Minister of Japan, the Prime Minister of India, the Prime Minister of Malaysia and the President of Mongolia.
